At MoneyPuzzle, your privacy comes first. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Our guiding principle: your financial data stays on your device.

1. Information We Collect

Stored locally on your device

• Financial data: your expenses, income, categories, goals, and budgets are stored on your device by default and are not accessed by us.
• Your control: this data belongs to you and stays under your control.

Processed on our servers (minimal)

• Device information: a device identifier for subscription validation, device model, iOS version, and app version.
• Subscription data: App Store transaction identifiers, purchase tokens, subscription status, and expiration dates.
• Usage timestamps: last-active time, used for subscription validation.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

MoneyPuzzle shows ads via Google AdMob. Ads are non-personalized (contextual) and we do not use advertising identifiers such as IDFA or cross-app tracking. AdMob may process your IP address (for delivery, regional relevance, and fraud prevention), ad-interaction data, and basic device information.

Analytics & usage data

We may collect anonymized, aggregated analytics about how the app is used — such as which features are opened, screen views, session counts, and crash/diagnostic information — to understand usage patterns, fix problems, and improve the app. This analytics data does not include the contents of your financial transactions, and we do not use it to identify you personally.

Other collection

• Third-party services (e.g. advertising and analytics providers) may collect limited technical or diagnostic data under their own privacy policies.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Subscriptions: validate premium status through the Apple App Store.
• Device recognition: associate entitlement with your device.
• Service delivery: provide secure access to premium features.
• Support: help with purchase restoration or subscription issues.
• Advertising: display ads via Google AdMob.
• Improvement: analyze anonymized, aggregated usage and diagnostic data to improve features and fix issues.

We do NOT access or store the contents of your financial transactions on our servers.

3. Data Storage & Security

• Encryption in transit: all traffic between your device and our servers uses HTTPS/TLS.
• Secure infrastructure: servers are hosted on Google Cloud Platform.
• Access control: strict controls limit who can access server data.
• Data minimization: we store only essential subscription and device data — never your financial transactions.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share limited data only with:

• Apple Inc. — subscription validation and payment processing;
• Google Cloud Platform — secure server hosting;
• Google AdMob — advertising (may collect IP, device info, ad-interaction data);
• Analytics providers — anonymized, aggregated usage and diagnostic data used to improve the app;
• Legal authorities — when required by law.

Your financial transaction data is never shared, because it remains on your device.

5. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your region, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your data, and to object to certain processing. You can:

• Access: request a copy of server-stored device and subscription data;
• Correct: request correction of inaccurate data;
• Delete: request deletion of server-side device-registration data;
• Local control: delete all financial data by uninstalling the app.

We do not send marketing communications. To exercise any right, contact us.

6. Data Retention

We retain server-side information while your subscription or device registration remains active. On a valid deletion request, data is removed within 30 days unless retention is required by law.

7. Children's Privacy

MoneyPuzzle is rated 4+ and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. International Users

Our servers are operated on Google Cloud Platform and your minimal subscription/device data may be processed in regions where that infrastructure operates. By using the app you consent to such processing consistent with this policy.

9. Third-Party Services

MoneyPuzzle integrates with the Apple App Store (distribution & subscriptions), Google Cloud Platform (hosting), Google AdMob (advertising), and analytics providers (anonymized usage & diagnostics). We are not responsible for their privacy practices — please review their policies directly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via in-app notice. Continued use of MoneyPuzzle indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
